Caution:  Proper oil filter cap tightening is mandatory. Failure to tighten the oil filter cap to the proper specification can hinder later removal and
cause possible oil filter cap damage.

Note:  Use a 6-point socket to install the oil filter cap.

5. Install the oil filter cap and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb in).
6. Install the oil fill cap.
7. Fill the engine with the appropriate oil type and quantity. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations   (See: Service Intervals) and

Approximate Fluid Capacities   (See: Service Intervals).

8. Install the front compartment sight shield as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers,
