Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve and Hose Replacement
Power Brake Booster Vacuum Check Valve and Hose Replacement (LSA) (6.2L)
Removal Procedure
1. With the engine OFF, apply and release the brake pedal several times until the pedal becomes firm to deplete the power vacuum brake booster
vacuum reserve.
2. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve and hose (1) assembly from the power vacuum brake booster.
3. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose (1) from the vacuum port at the front of the engine intake manifold.
4. Remove the vacuum brake booster check valve and hose assembly from the vehicle.
