Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt a first pass to 150 Nm (110 lb ft).

Loosen the crankshaft balancer bolt a second pass to 360 degrees.

Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt a third pass to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
*
Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolt a final pass to 230 degrees) using the J 45059 .
10. Remove the J 42386-A .
11. Install the starter motor. Refer to Starter Replacement (SFI) (See: Starting and Charging/Starting System/Starter Motor/Service and Repair

12. Install the power steering gear. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement (Left Hand Drive and All Wheel Drive) (See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Steering Gear/Service and Repair)Steering Gear Replacement (Left Hand Drive and Rear Wheel Drive) (See: Steering and

13. Install the A/C drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement (See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive
Belt/Service and Repair/Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement).
14. Perform the crankshaft position (CKP) system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn (See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Crankshaft Position Sensor/Service and Repair).
