Cadillac Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

1. Install the wheel bearing/hub.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the wheel bearing/hub mounting bolts and tighten to 135 Nm (100 lb ft).
3. Install the wheel speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (RWD)   (See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes /

Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed Sensor/Service and Repair/Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement)Front Wheel Speed Sensor

Repair/Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement).

4. Install the NEW wheel driveshaft nut and washer.

For the left side, refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Left Side   (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive Axles, Bearings and
Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair).

For the right side, refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement - Right Side   (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive Axles, Bearings and
Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair).

5. Install the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement (JE5, J55 (RWD))   (See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake

6. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation   (See: Service and Repair).
7. Lower the vehicle.
