CTS Sedan RWD V6-3.0L (2010)
A new service part sunshade comes pre-loaded with a pin tool holding spring tension on the sunshade. If the sunshade spring releases, it
will be necessary to rewind it and reinstall the pin tool. Following installation procedure, retain the pin tool for future applications.
The cam locking hole will come in to view when the sunshade is in the fully open position on the passengers side.
4. Close the sunshade until the cam locking hole (2) come in to view.
5. Insert a suitable tool (1) into the sunshade cam locking hole (2).
Important: If installing a new service part sunshade it will be necessary to remove the cross bar from the sunshade.
6. Separate the sunshade material (1) from the cross bar (3) by turning it counterclockwise.

Lift up on the sunshade to view the retaining edge of the of the cross bar (3).

Slide the sunshade material (1) out of the retaining edge (2) of the cross bar (3).
7. Remove the sunshade material (1) from under the tension bar (2).
