6. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose bracket bolt (2).
7. Disconnect the power steering gear outlet hose (4) from the power steering cooler hose.
8. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose fitting (1) from the steering gear.
9. Remove the power steering gear outlet hose (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Note:  Begin all fasteners by hand before finalizing any torques.

1. Position the power steering gear outlet hose (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the power steering gear outlet hose fitting (1) to the steering gear.
3. Connect the power steering gear outlet hose (4) to the power steering cooler hose.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

4. Install the power steering gear outlet hose bracket bolt (2) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
