FRONT FENDER ALIGNMENT TO DOOR AND HOOD
MODELS AFFECTED:
1989 DE VILLES AND FLEETWOODS
Some 1989 DeVilles and Fleetwoods may experience poor fits and/or alignments at the door and/or hood area. To repair these conditions use the
following procedure:
FIGURE 1 - HOOD HINGE BOLTS
FENDER-TO-DOOR ADJUSTMENTS
Gap Between Fender and Door
1.
Remove wheel well molding.
2.
Remove splash panel at rear of wheel well.
3.
Loosen fender retaining bolts at rear of fender. Refer to Figure 1.
4.
Raise hood.
5.
Loosen two hood hinge bolts. Refer to Figure 1.
