CHECK GAS CAP
The PCM displays the CHECK GAS CAP message when class 2 serial data is sent to the IPC. The class 2 serial data is sent to the IPC when a leak is
initially detected in the evaporative emission system. The detection in a subsequent ignition cycle results in the PCM activating the SES telltale.
