Tires: Service and Repair
Tire Rotation
TIRE ROTATION
Rotate the tires at intervals specified in Maintenance and Lubrication in order to equalize wear. In addition to scheduled rotation, rotate the tires
whenever wear is found. Radial tires tend to wear faster in the shoulder area, particularly when mounted in front positions (1,2). Radial tires in the
non-drive positions (3,4) may develop an irregular wear pattern that can increase tire noise if not rotated. This tendency makes regular rotation
especially important. After rotation, ensure that the wheel nuts are tightened to the specified torque. Adjust the tire pressure.
