Seat Belt Buckle: Service and Repair
Passenger Seat Buckle Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Position the seat so that the passenger buckle retaining nut is just ahead of the center seat belt anchor cover.
2. Remove the nut.
3. Remove the buckle assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the buckle assembly.
2. Install the nut. 

Tighten
Tighten the nut to 20-34 N.m (15-25 lb. ft).

NOTICE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the electrical connector.
4. Lower the seat.
5. Install the seat anchor bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 28-36 N.m (21-27 lb. ft).
