Rocker arm cover
INSPECT
1. Sealing surfaces of intake manifold and cylinder head for damage. Nicks and deep scratches should be filled with RTV before rocker arm cover
installation.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New triangular seals - use RTV as shown in Figure.
2. New molded seal into groove in rocker arm cover.
3. Rocker arm cover.
4. Seven rocker arm cover attaching screws.
TIGHTEN

Attaching screws to 10 Nm (8.0 lbs. ft.).
5. All electrical connections positioned over valve cover.
6. R/H Spark plug wires and conduit.
7. Air cleaner.
8. Negative battery cable.
9. MAP sensor connections.
10. Cruise servo.
11. Cruise cable to bracket near servo.
