DeVille DHS V8-4.6L VIN Y (2000)
1. Install the BPMV bracket (1) to the frame (3).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the 3 BPMV bracket to frame bolts (2).

Tighten the 3 bolts to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
Important: Make sure that all 3 rubber isolators are installed on the BPMV. The isolators protect the EBCM/BPMV assembly from vehicle
vibrations.
3. Install the EBCM/BPMV assembly (1) to the BPMV bracket (3).
4. Install the 2 BPMV bracket nuts (2).

Tighten the 2 nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
5. Install the left AIR pump (if equipped). Refer to Secondary/AIR Injection Pump Replacement - Bank 2 in Powertrain Management.
6. Install the left front fascia extension. Refer to Fascia Extension Replacement - Front in Body and Frame.
7. Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
8. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
