DeVille DHS V8-4.6L VIN Y (2000)
1. Remove the rear caliper from vehicle. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear (Without J55).
2. Remove piston and piston boot by turning the piston counterclockwise using a spanner type wrench.
Notice: Do not use a metal tool for seal removal. Damage to the caliper bore or the seal grooves can result.
3. Remove the boot ring from the groove in the caliper bore with a small wooden or plastic tool.
4. Remove the piston seal with a small wooden or plastic tool.
