Turn Signal on Chime
The IPC receives a discrete turn signal input for each turn indicator. If a turn signal remains on and the vehicle has travelled more than 1.6 kilometers (1
mile), the IPC sends a class 2 serial data message requesting the radio to activate a chime. The IPC also displays the TURN SIGNAL ON message on the
DIC. The chime sounds once per flash of the turn signal as long as the turn signal remains active.
