High Mounted Stoplamp Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Lower the rear compartment lid trim.
3. Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector from the wiring harness.
4. Remove the nuts retaining the high mounted stop lamp to the rear compartment lid.
5. Remove the high mounted stop lamp and place it face down on a clean protective surface.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the high mount stop lamp to the rear compartment lid.

NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts that retain the high mounted stop lamp to the rear compartment lid.

Tighten
Tighten the high mounted stop lamp mounting bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Connect the high mount stop lamp connector.
4. Install the rear compartment lid trim.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
