Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   in General Information.
3. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement - Front  (See: Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Air Dam/Service and Repair) in

Body Front End.

4. Remove the front bumper fascia extensions. Refer to Fascia Extension Replacement - Front  (See: Fascia Extension Replacement - Front) in

Bumpers.

5. Disconnect all the electrical connectors to the lamps mounted in the front fascia.

6. Loosen the bolts (1) retaining the front bumper fascia (2) to the front fender (6).
7. Remove the nuts retaining the front bumper fascia stud plate (3) to the front fender (6).
8. Remove the upper push in retainers (4) that secure the front bumper fascia (2) to the front impact bar (5).
9. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle by sliding forward.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the front bumper fascia (2) and the front energy absorber to the front impact bar (5).
2. Install the upper push in retainers (4) in order to secure the front bumper fascia (2) to the front impact bar (5).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the retainer bolt (1) in order to secure the front bumper fascia (2) to the front fender (6).

Tighten the retainer nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the nuts in order to retain the front bumper fascia stud plate (3) to the front fender (6).

Tighten the retainer bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Connect all electrical connectors to the lamps mounted in the fascia.
6. Install the front bumper fascia extensions. Refer to Fascia Extension Replacement - Front  (See: Fascia Extension Replacement - Front) in

Bumpers.
