Use a razor knife (Exacto type) to enlarge the cavity in the rear fuse block so that the DET can be installed from above. The illustration shows the
enlarged cavity.

Before installing the DET, make sure that there are no plastic shavings covering the blade terminal that is already in the rear fuse block where the
new DET will be installed.

Align the tabs on the DET with the grooves inside the enlarged rear fuse block cavity. The illustration shows the DET partially installed.
