3. Position the engine wiring harness electrical connectors and engage the retainers securing the connectors (2) to the ECM (1).
4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery
Cable/Negative/Service and Repair/Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection).
5. If a NEW ECM was installed, program the ECM. Refer to Control Module References (See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and
Relearning).
