Pressure Regulating Solenoid: Service and Repair

Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle   (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair). 

2. Remove the range selector lever cable heat shield bolts (1).
3. Remove the range selector lever cable heat shield (2).

4. Disconnect the range selector lever cable (2) from the range select lever.
5. Remove the range selector lever cable retainer (1).
6. Remove the range selector lever cable (2) from the cable bracket.
