24. Disconnect the electrical harness from the BEC under the steering column. Route the wires out.
25. Remove the right side rear quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase)   (See: Trim

Panel/Service and Repair)Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase)   (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair).

26. Remove the rearview mirror trim and disconnect the electrical connectors. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement   (See: Mirrors/Service

and Repair/Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement).

27. Remove the sunshade anchor. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement   (See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair).
28. Note routing of the wire harness and remove the headliner trim panel assembly (3).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the headliner trim panel assembly (3).
2. Install the sunshade anchor. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement   (See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair).
3. Install the rearview mirror trim and connect the electrical connectors. Refer to Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement   (See: Mirrors/Service and

Repair/Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement).

4. Install the right side rear quarter trim. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Standard Wheelbase)   (See: Trim

Panel/Service and Repair)Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (Extended Wheelbase)   (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair).

5. Connect the electrical harness to the BEC under the steering column.
6. Connect the electrical harness retainers to the windshield pillars.
7. Install the third row right seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL)   (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat

Replacement)Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade)   (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement).

8. Install the second row right seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)   (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat

9. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Tahoe with HP2)   (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Replacement -

10. Install the roof assist handles. Refer to Front Assist Handle Replacement   (See: Passenger Assist Handle/Service and Repair) and Roof Rail Rear

11. Install the I/P upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Except Cadillac)   (See: Dashboard / Instrument

12. Install the front seat headrest.
13. Install the rear overhead console. Refer to Video Display Replacement (Second Row)   (See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Entertainment

14. Install the sunroof panel window molding. Refer to Sunroof Panel/Window Garnish Molding Replacement (Crew Cab)   (See: Roof and

15. Install the coat hooks. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement   (See: Service and Repair).
16. Install the body rear corner upper molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement - Right Side   (See: Trim Panel/Service and

Repair) and Body Rear Corner Garnish Molding Replacement - Left Side (w/o E61)   (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair)Body Rear Corner

17. Install the back body opening molding. Refer to Rear Door Upper Garnish Molding Replacement   (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair).
