Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

EXC. ELDORADO & SEVILLE

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove left hand instrument panel insert.

3.

Remove three screws attaching light switch to instrument panel.

4.

On vehicles equipped with Cruise Control and Twilight Sentinel, remove two screws retaining Cruise Control switch to instrument panel.

5.

Slide Cruise Control switch forward to remove headlamp switch.

6.

Disconnect electrical connector from headlamp switch, then if used, disconnect Guidematic connector from under instrument panel.

7.

Remove switch.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
