Air Dryer: Service and Repair

1.

Deflate system through service valve.

2.

Disconnect high pressure line at air dryer.

3.

Remove air dryer from compressor by rotating spring clip and sliding air dryer from compressor head, through the bracket. On some models, the
compressor is mounted on the right side of the engine compartment and the air dryer mounting bracket screws and bracket must be
removed to facilitate removal of air dryer.

4.

Remove O-ring from compressor head.

5.

Reverse procedure to install. Lubricate dryer to compressor O-ring with petroleum jelly or equivalent prior to assembly.
