7. Pressure switch electrical connection. On speed sensitive steering systems, also make the control valve and manifold electrical connection.

9. Tie rod ends to steering knuckles.
TIGHTEN

nuts to 47 Nm (35 lb. ft.).
10. Cotter pin.
TIGHTEN

Nut up to 1/6 additional turn, or to 70 Nm (52 lb. ft.) max. to align cotter pin slot. Do not back off nut for cotter pin insertion.
11. Intermediate shaft lower connection.
TIGHTEN
^
Bolt to 47 Nm (35 lb. ft.).
12. Left tire and wheel.
TIGHTEN
^
Wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 lb. ft.).
13. Lower vehicle.
14. Fill and bleed power steering system.
INSPECT
^
For leaks.
