Place trim plate over the repair area and position until a snug fit is achieved with the top and side surfaces of the housing (see Figure 1).

Before securing the trim plate, make sure it does not interfere with the console armrest or rear compartment door operation.

Using the properly positioned trim plate as a template, drill two 7/32" (5.56 mm) holes into the console (see Figure 1).

While firmly holding trim plate in place, insert rivets into holes and press on center locking pins until pins are flush with rivet heads.
For warranty purposes, use Operation No. T6097 at .2 hour to install trim plate. Add to color coat .2 hour (AA).
