Refer to Fig. 54 when entering diagnostic mode.
Turn ignition On, then depress OFF and WARMER buttons on the Climate Control Panel (CCP), Fig. 55. Hold buttons until all display panel
segments illuminate, indicating beginning of diagnostic readout. The two display panels must be illuminated to ensure all segments are operating.
Do not attempt diagnosis unless all segments appear, as a misdiagnosis could result. If any segments are inoperative, the display panel must be
replaced. After all ECM and BCM codes have been displayed, ``ECM'' will be displayed. At this point pressing the OFF button will return to
diagnostic codes. Pressing the LO button will display the next system and pressing the HI button will proceed to the first test type for the system selected.
Having selected a system, the first available test type will be displayed. While selecting a specific test type, the OFF button will stop the test type and
return the display to the next available system. Pressing the LO button will display the next available test type and pressing the HI button will select the
displayed test type.
After selecting the test type, the first available test will be displayed. If dashes ever appear, this test is not allowed while vehicle is running. While
selecting a specific test, pressing the OFF button will stop the test selection process and return the display to the next available test type. Pressing the LO
button will display the next smaller test number for the selected test type. Pressing the HI button will display the next larger test number for the selected
