10. Connect the side air bag/pretensioner yellow 6-way connector (2) located under the passenger front seat (1).
11. Install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) (1) to the side air bag/pretensioner yellow 6-way connector located under the passenger front seat
(1).
12. Install the SIR fuse to the rear junction block.
13. Staying well away from all air bags and the pretensioners, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times.

The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF.
14. Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described. Refer to SIR Diagnostic System Check.
