FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS AND/OR HUB

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 28733 Wheel Hub Remover

1. Raise the vehicle and support by the frame allowing the control arms to hang free. 
2. Remove the wheel and tire. 

3. Remove the wheel drive shaft nut.

Insert a drift punch (1) or screwdriver into the caliper and rotor to prevent the rotor from turning.

4. Remove the caliper bolts and support caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement in Disc Brakes.
5. Remove the rotor. Refer to Brake Rotor Replacement in Disc Brakes.

6. Disconnect the front wheel speed sensor connector and unclip from the dust shield.
