Revised Heater Module/Heated Seat Control Module - Front Replacement Procedure

This bulletin is being issued to revise the 1998 and 1999 Service Manual Heater Module Replacement procedure and the 2000 Service Manual Heated
Seat Control Module - Front Replacement procedure in the Seats sub-section.
Revise the text to read as follows:
Heater Module/Heated Seat Control Module - Front Replacement Procedure
Caution:
Refer to SIR Handling Caution in the Cautions and Notices sub-section of the Service Manual.
Removal Procedure
1.
Disable the SIR.
Refer to Disabling the SIR System in the Restraints sub-section of the Service Manual.
2.
Adjust the front seat assembly up and forward in order to access the fasteners (1) at the rear of the front seat cushion assembly.
3.
Remove the front seat cushion assembly fasteners (1) at the rear of the seat cushion.
4.
Adjust the front seat assembly to the rear of the vehicle.
