REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 43828 Ball Joint Separator Ball Joint Separator

1. Raise the vehicle and suitably support by the frame allowing the control arms to hang free. 
2. Remove the wheel and tire.

3. Disconnect the stabilizer link bolt from the control arm.

4. Remove the cotter pin (1) and hex nut (2) from the ball joint stud.

5. Using the J 43828 Ball Joint Separator separate the ball joint from the steering knuckle.
