SRX AWD V6-3.0L (2010)
1. Lift up on the instrument panel compartment door latch.
2. Use a suitable tool and depress the retaining tumbler (1) through the access hole indicated.
3. With the retaining tumbler (1) depressed, remove the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (2) from the instrument panel compartment
door latch assembly.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (2) to the opening in the compartment door latch, while depressing the retainer
tumbler (1).
2. Insert the instrument panel door lock cylinder (2) fully into the latch assembly.
3. An audible click should be heard when the door lock cylinder (2) is fully seated into the latch assembly.
4. Ensure proper operation of the instrument panel compartment door lock.
