Note: If installing new brake pads, do not reuse the brake pad springs.
7. Remove the brake pad springs (1).
8. If installing new brake pads, discard the brake pad springs.
9. Remove the brake caliper guide pin seals (1) and guide pins (2).
10. Inspect the rear disc brake hardware for damage and replace, if necessary. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Mounting and Hardware Inspection (See:
Disc Brake System/Testing and Inspection/Rear Disc Brake Mounting and Hardware Inspection).
