Television Antenna Amplifier Replacement (Front)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair) .

2. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1,2).
3. Remove the bolt (3) securing the antenna amplifier to the vehicle.
4. Slide the antenna amplifier out of the mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure

1. Slide the antenna amplifier into the mounting bracket.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the bolt (3) securing the antenna amplifier to the vehicle.

Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connectors (1,2).
4. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair)
