7. Remove the latch from the seat.
8. Remove the seat back cover.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat back cover on to the seat back.
2. Install the seat release cable to the release latch.
3. Install the seat release latch to the seat.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the seat release latch screw (1).

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the right seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement - Right Side  (See: Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Cushion

Replacement - Right Side) .

6. Install the head restraint guides. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Head

Restraint Guide Replacement) .

7. Install the head restraints. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Head Restraint

Replacement) .

8. Install the seat in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Replacement) .

Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement  (See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the left seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Left Side  (See: Rear Seat Number 1 Back Replacement - Left Side) .
3. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Left Side  (See: Rear Seat Back Cushion

4. Remove the latch release assembly. Refer to Rear Number 1 Seat Back Release Latch Replacement  (See: Rear Number 1 Seat Back Release Latch

5. Remove the head restraints. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Head Restraint

Replacement) .

6. Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement  (See: Head Rest/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Head

7. Remove the seat belt retractor assembly. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 1 Rear Center  (See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt

Installation Procedure

1. Install the seat belt retractor assembly. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - No. 1 Rear Center  (See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt

2. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Left Side  (See: Rear Seat Back Cushion
