Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement
Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (LY7 - Gas, 6 Cylinder, 3.6L, SFI, V6)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams/Air Dam/Service
and Repair) .
2. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
3. Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.
4. Remove the air cleaner inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service and Repair) .
5. Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
6. Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
7. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the vehicle.
