Assist Rod Ball Stud Replacement - Hood
Assist Rod Ball Stud Replacement - Hood
Removal Procedure
1. Open the hood.
Caution: Refer to Hood Hold-Open Device Caution in Service Precautions.
2. Release the clip retaining the hood assist rod to the lower hood assist rod ball stud. Refer to Assist Rod Replacement - Hood.
3. Remove the lower hood assist rod ball stud (1) from the front structure (2).
