Quarter Window Glass: Adjustments
Folding Top Quarter Window Adjustment
Fore/Aft and Cross Car Adjustment Procedure
1. Open the folding top as shown in the illustration. Dimension (A) is 400 mm (15.75 in) from the windshield header to the leading edge of the
folding top panel.
2. Place a protective covering over the interior of the vehicle and the adjacent body panels.
3. Partially remove the quarter window trim (1) to gain access to the quarter window screws (2).
4. Using a grease pencil, mark the location of the screws (2) to the quarter window bracket (3).
5. Loosen the quarter window screws (2).
6. Adjust the quarter window, as necessary.
7. Apply LOCTITE(TM) Blue, GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
8. Tighten the quarter window screws (2).
Tighten the screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
9. Install the quarter window trim (1).
10. Manually close the folding top. Refer to Folding Top Manual Operation.
11. Repeat the adjustment procedure, as necessary.
12. Remove the protective covering.
13. Cycle the folding top under power through one complete cycle in both directions.
14. Inspect the folding top for proper operation.
