Exhaust Pipe: Service and Repair

Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (L 65) 
Removal Procedure 

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle with safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

2. Loosen the exhaust manifold pipe clamp.
3. Slide the exhaust manifold pipe clamp down the pipe.

4. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe hanger bolts, if equipped.

5. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe nuts.
6. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold pipe gasket.
7. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe.
8. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold pipe clamp.
