C 3500 HD Truck 2WD V8-6.5L DSL Turbo VIN F (2001)
1. Install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe clamp to the pipe.
2. Install the exhaust manifold pipe.
3. Install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe gasket.
4. Install the exhaust manifold pipe nuts until snug.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Install the exhaust manifold pipe hanger bolts, if equipped.
Tighten the exhaust manifold pipe hanger bolts to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
6. Align the exhaust manifold pipe to the turbocharger.
7. Position the exhaust manifold pipe clamp.

Tighten the exhaust manifold pipe clamp to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.).

Tighten the exhaust pipe nuts to 64 Nm (47 ft. lbs.).
8. Lower the vehicle.
