Using GM repair kit P/N 1052420 which contains primers and adhesives or equivalent:

a)

Apply clear primer to the windshield covering an area 1.3 mm (1/2 inch) from the edge of the glass. Allow primer to dry.

b)

Apply black primer to the same area as the clear and allow it to dry.

c)

Apply a uniform 1 mm high bead of urethane over the black primer.

3.

Reinstall the windsield making sure the two lower stop tab screw holes are aligned with the holes in the body.

4.

Reinstall all other parts previously removed.

NOTICE:

Until the new urethane has cured, air pressure from a closing door may cause the windshield to move. To prevent this from happening,
lower one of the vehicle windows several inches before closing a door.
