Camaro V8-6.2L (2010)
6. Disconnect the power steering gear inlet hose (2) from the power steering gear (1). Plug the power steering gear inlet port.
7. Remove the 2 bolts from the 2 brackets.
8. Remove the power steering gear inlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Cap the power steering gear end of the power steering gear inlet hose.
2. Position the power steering gear inlet hose on the front frame.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the 2 bolts to the 2 brackets and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
4. Remove the cap from the power steering gear inlet hose (2). Ensure the O-ring seal is on the hose and is in good condition.
5. Remove the plug from the power steering pump outlet port and quickly connect the power steering gear inlet hose to the power steering pump.
Tighten the power steering gear inlet hose fitting to 34 Nm (25 lb ft).
