Drill a 1/8 in. diameter hole in the red clip on the temperature control cable, as shown in Figure 2.

Mount the control cable to the plate, using the hole in the cable clip and the hole in the end of the plate, as shown in Figure 3. Tighten the screw up
enough to allow the cable clip to rotate on the plate.
5.
Mount the plate and control cable to the mounting bosses, indicated in Figure 1. When finished the plate and cable should be as shown in Figure 3.
6.
Follow the install and connect procedure in the Service Manual Pages 1B-42 and 43 to complete the operation.
