5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the folding top control module (2).
6. Remove the control module by lifting up to release the hook and loop fastener.
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the folding top control module (2).
2. Install the rear compartment carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Rear Center Trim Panel Carpet Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior
Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair) .
3. Connect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (6.0L) (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery
Cable/Service and Repair)Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (7.0L) (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery
Cable/Service and Repair) .
4. Close the rear compartment.
5. Inspect the folding top for proper operation. Refer to Power Folding Top Description and Operation (See: Body and Frame/Roof and Associated
Components/Convertible Top/Description and Operation/Power Folding Top Description and Operation) .
