4. Disconnect the differential cooler line from the differential cooler.
5. Remove the differential cooler fitting from the differential cooler.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the differential cooler fitting to the differential cooler.

*

Tighten the 1/2 in fitting to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).

Tighten the 3/8 in fitting to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

2. Connect the differential cooler line to the differential cooler.
3. Fill the differential fluid. Refer to Lubricant Level Inspection - Rear Drive Axle.
4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
5. Raise and secure the rear of the exhaust system.
6. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Lower and support the rear of the exhaust system.
3. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
