Express 1/2 Ton Van V8-5.7L VIN R (1999)
1. Insert the new control arm bushings into the control arm.
2. Using the tools as shown install the upper control arm bushings into the control arm.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the bushings are properly seated in the control arm.
3. Remove the tool.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the upper control arm to the vehicle. Refer to Upper Control Arm Replacement.

Tighten the nuts with the control arm at Z height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection Procedure in Suspension General Diagnosis.

Tighten the nuts to 190 Nm (140 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
6. Remove the safety stands.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Check the wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications in Alignment.
