Express 2500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
5. Remove the connector bracket bolt (2) and nut (1), and reposition the bracket.
6. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor No. 2. Refer to Intake Air Temperature
(IAT) Sensor 2 Replacement (See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Intake Air Temperature Sensor/Service and
Repair/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor 2 Replacement).
7. Remove the center intake manifold 4 bolts (1).
8. Remove the center intake manifold 2 nuts (2) and 2 bolts.
9. Remove the center intake manifold.
10. Remove and discard the center intake manifold gaskets.
11. If replacing the center intake manifold, remove the IAT sensor.
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. If the center intake manifold was replaced, install the IAT sensor No. 2 and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
2. Install NEW center intake manifold gaskets to the intake.
