To: All Chevrolet Dealers
General Motors has determined that certain 1993 Chevrolet Lumina model vehicles equipped with 4T60-E automatic transaxles (RPO M13) may contain
a distorted channel plate assembly. The suspect channel plate may be bowed, affecting the transaxle "end play". This could result in a variety of
symptoms including noise, fluid leaks and eventually loss of forward drive capability.
To prevent the possibility of these conditions occurring, dealers are to replace the transaxle assembly with a new transaxle assembly.
