Backup Light Bulb: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:  Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the 2 screws which secure the tail lamp (5).
3. Remove the tail lamp (5) From the vehicle by pulling upward and rearward.
4. Remove the socket of the backup lamp bulb (1) From the tail lamp (5).
5. Remove the backup lamp bulb (1) From the socket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the backup lamp bulb (1) to the socket.
2. Install the socket of the backup lamp bulb (1) to the tail lamp (5).
3. Install the tail lamp (5) to the vehicle. Secure the lamp (5) with 2 screws.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
