D. Install a new inner boot clamp and secure using a J 22610.
E. Make sure that boots are free from twists and properly fastened.
9. Tie rod end and locknut to right and left tie rods; align locknuts with marks made on tie rod threads during removal.
Tighten

Tie rod end locknuts to 43 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
10. Manual steering gear assembly to vehicle.

The factory does not provide Overhaul procedures for Power Steering Racks for the 98 Metro.
