1. Install the carpet into the vehicle.

Reach under the carpet and feed the following connectors through the slits in the carpet where required:

*

The power seat adjusters

*

The center console power port

*

The seat belt warning wire connector

2. Install the push-in retainers that secure the carpet on top of the rocker panels.
3. Install the rear quarter lower trim.
4. For the Impala, install the following components:

1. The center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar (Impala).
2. The lower trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Impala) Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Lower (Monte

Carlo).

5. Install the front seat carpet retainers.
6. Install the rear seat cushion.
7. Install the front floor center console, if equipped.
8. Install the front seats.
