Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dash Board / Instrument Panel/Air
Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair/Air Bag Disarming and Arming/Disabling the SIR System
2. Remove the RH front turn signal lamp. Refer to Front Turn Signal Lamp Removal Procedure. See: Lighting and Horns
3. Remove the RH headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly Replacement. See: Lighting and Horns
4. Remove the electrical connector (1).
5. Remove the fasteners (2).
6. Remove the front end discriminating sensor (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dash Board / Instrument Panel/Air
Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair/Air Bag Disarming and Arming/Enabling the SIR System
2. Install the front end discriminating sensor (3).
3. Install the fasteners (2).

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 20 N.m (14 ft lb).
